Vintage Stanley Bailey No 6 C Type 18, 1946-47 Woodworking Fore Plane Inv#BH03
T his Stanley Bailey No 6 C Fore. Plane Type 18 made by Stanley 1946-47. Very CLEAN plane with lots of life left. The plane's japanning is 85% intact. The knob and tote are hardwood with wear and only traces of original black paint.
The plane measures 18" L x -3" W. It has a Stanley notched logo on cutter. Cutter has mild discoloration but very clean and extremely sharp. The cap is nickel plated with a notched Stanley with orange colored background. There is the imprint Bailey in front of knob and Made in USA behind it. The number 8 is behind tote. Sole is corrugated has only slight typical wear but is in. Everything is in great working order, no cracks or breaks...A really good user tool ready to go to work for you and a nice addition to your toolbox!!! Condition - Antique, Used, may have minor surface dents, pitting, dings or corrosion.
