Antique Vintage Stanley No. 4 Type 14 (1929-1930) Smooth Woodworking Plane Tool

About 95 percent original japanning on sole (one patent date and "BAILY MADE IN USA" on toe in casting), some pitting, dark spots and light scratches on sides and bottom of sole (pitting on heal) from normal wear. Frog as about 90 percent of it's original japanning with some micro pitting and scratches.

Lever cap in great condition with some micro pitting, dark spots and very light scratches from light normal wear. Iron stamped "STANLEY MADE IN USA" (7-1/2" long x 2" wide) and in great condition, both iron and chip breaker with pitting, dark spots and scratches from normal wear. No cracks or chips in rosewood tall knob or tote handle, both handles have light scratches and tiny nicks from normal wear. Plane as been lightly cleaned, oiled and waxed, please see photos.
