A vintage collection of wood turning tools from my grandad. All the items on sale have been used and have been stored soundly in a wooden box. They may require sharpening before use as I have not got into woodturning and need both the space and a reduction in the number of hobbies I have! 10 chisels are clearly identifiable as Robert Sorby (on the right).

I believe the swan neck gouge at the top also to be an RB or Marples chisel, but can not guarantee it, I believe its been repaired at the neck previously as it shows evidence of having been ground. 3 (one the very left in the main pic) are scrapers that have been made from old files, all are high speed steel and will have been quality tools in their own time before conversion, both my grandad and dad were/are capable engineers so converted tools from their own stock. My grandad was the woodturner in retirement, which he did in the early 70s, so I hope that gives you an indication of their age. All the items show some minor oxidisation, I have cleaned them back up and given them a light coat of oil again to preserve them. Happy to add more photos if needed.
