Victorian tool chest made with square nails AND an early fancy inside front cover and 3 lift out drawers with shaved bottoms and brass finger pulls. Saw compartment for 4-5 saws. Saw compartment has one finger pull missing and one missing pull up tab but brass finger pull fitting is there. I think this is English. I do not know much about wood but this is a dark soft wood.

Size is 37 inch length 21 1/2 inch wide 21 1/2 inch height. PCT initials carved in saw compartment lift lid. Hinges are brass the lid's long nickel plated hinge I think is steel. A very fancy carpenter's tool chest from an advanced collector of tools and this is from his estate.

Two wood runners are on the bottom of the tool chest one with some worm holes other looks pretty clean no bugs all gone long ago. The 3 compartments lift out with divisions for tools.
