18th Century half set 16 wooden moulding plane hollow & round old tool I Cogdell. They are one of the earliest complete sets & only half set of I Cogdell known of. I Cogdell traded between 1750 - 1773. The planes measure 9 15/16" long x between 5/8" - 1 3/4" wide & between 1/4" - 1 1/2 wide irons. & they are a complete even half set nos 2 - 16.

At this date half sets of H&R planes only consisted of 16 planes. The larger planes irons are stamped Dingly.

They have some marks and dents from use. A few minor chips & a few woodworm holes in some planes. & a few of the narrower planes are slightly warped.
