2 Veneer Laminate Woodworking Clamps Custom Made Jig

This is for the 2 veneer laminate clamps pictured. These were a recent estate sale find so I don't know the history. They show age, use, and wear with some surface rust.

They look to be homemade but very well made and sturdy. The wood is sandwiched with steel. I'm not sure what species of wood. The names on the clamps are hard to read but I think they say Little Giant on them. One of the clamps has a bent screw and it can be seen in the 12th picture.
