Welcome and thank you for your interest in this item. You are looking at a VINTAGE 5-CD COLUMBIAN VISE MFG 7 WOODWORKING CLAMP VISE.

This pre-owned item has wear consistent with use, but opens and closes freely. There are dings, dents, scratches, rust, grease, soiling, etc. The rust is very light and should sand off easily. Only one jaw has wood attached. The handle appears to be original.

In the 3rd photo the rectangular slide is in the up position. I don't know if this is for quick release or what purpose it serves. It does slide upwards very firmly and you can either grab the lever or just push it back down.

It will stay in either position without any extra assistance. I may have unintentionally failed to describe a blemish or defect. By purchasing you are accepting my description as is.
