This is an unusual Champion in that it has a handlever feed for sensitive drilling. Build to use bits with 1/2 inch shank, which can be found but a better alternative is to install a modern chuck with 1/2 straight arbor. There is no provision for auto feed. I have had dozens of drills and this is the only one of these I have found.
Medium sized drill with an actual weight of 75 lbs. Table is 7 3/8 inches in diameter and has one drill hole in it. Wood drive handle is good condition.Has a 6 inch flat drive pulley for those that want to use power. Full disclosure, the shaft used to stick out quite a bit further, but I cut it back one day after barking my ankle on if one too many times.
The hand feed moves the spindle 4 inches. Does not presently have any kind of spring for return, but would be easy enough to add something if needed. The coupling to the feed lever has an old bronze weld. Also in the pictures is what appears to be a saw cut on the same piece. No model number marked on it. Needs cleaned to your taste. Overall a nice piece and really ready to put to work.
