Antique 19th century hand carved dark wood planer or shaver utilized in the woodworking field. Most likely used for shaving wood or creating veneers, Piece is hand carved with a crossed leaf motif and engraved with a triangular plaque. Hallmarks: Brass plaque is engraved with the initials W. Dimensions: Length 9" x Width 2 5/8" x Height 1 3/4.

Condition: Very good antique condition. Wear and surface scratches throughout from use.
