Antique LARGE SOCKET GOUGE Woodworking Chisel by "UNDERHILL" 2-5/8x19 Big Slick. Being offered for sale is the antique CHISEL/GOUGE marked "UNDERHILL".

(and another illegible word below, see 2nd pic). From circa the late 19th or early 20th century. As seen in the pictures/as described in the title. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR CONDITION NOTES.

Being offered for sale AS-FOUND, uncleaned. May require a thorough detailing to bring to its full potential. Very Good antique condition with minor -to- moderate overall wear from normal use over the years but NO major breaks or repairs. Handle has some splintering near socket-end and a large split/crack running nearly the entire length. (very old "damage" - see pics, visible in many).

Blade remains more or less smooth and quite sharp. Ready to use or display!! Measures 19" long, overall x 2-5/8" wide, at blade.
