This is an early metal plane, Metallic plane co of Auburn NY pat May 14 1867/ palmer pattent no there is no parts missing different config on the blade. Yes there is a small crack in the mouth as shown in the picture and there is a chip out of the tip of the tote. And a crack in the tote.
