Antique Nail Sorter Carpenters Box Crate Makers Old Vintage Woodworking Tool

Box is in good used shape. Is missing a bolt / nut and a couple metal arms (easy fix for a guy who's handy to fab up and distress). Once opened and set up, I believe the wooden tray sits with its back against the open lid with a bolt / nut in the slot and two arms (missing) that come down and support it.

A woodworking expert should be able to look at this and know exactly how it works and what is missing (not much I think). Closed, box measures about 18 ¾ by 10 ½ by 5. It is dusty and dirty, and coming as found. Do not see a name on it. Would be great addition to any period museum or personal collection.

Very cool old piece for the woodworker. I will post as much as possible in-between my search for a job (out of work).
