Antique Vintage Stanley No. 3 Type 12 (1919-1924) Smooth Woodworking Tool Plane
About 95 percent original japanning on sole (three patent date in casting), some pitting and light scratches on sides and bottom of sole from normal wear. Frog as about 95 percent of it's original japanning with some micro pitting and scratches. Lever cap in great condition with some micro pitting, dark spots and very light scratches from light normal wear.
Iron stamped "STANLEY MADE IN USA" (7-1/4" long x 1-3/4" wide) and in great condition, both iron and chip breaker with some pitting, dark spots, nicks and scratches from normal wear. No cracks or chips in tote handle, tall knob has hard to see stress crack at bottom, both handles have light scratches and tiny nicks from normal wear.
