Antique Vintage Stanley No. 4 Type 6 (1888-1892) Smooth Woodworking Plane Tools
About 90-95 percent original japanning with some micro pitting, tiny nicks and light scratches on sides and bottom of sole (some light pitting and tiny nicks around one side of month and side above month, see photo #10) from normal wear. Frog as about 90 percent of it's original japanning with some micro pitting and scratches.
Lever cap as three patent dates on lever control along with some micro pitting, darkness and very light scratches from normal wear, patent dates inside brass adjusting nut. Iron stamped "STANLEY" (7-3/8" long x 2" wide) both iron and chip breaker in great condition with micro pitting and scratches from normal wear. No cracks or chips in short knob or tote handles (tote as tiny nick on top of handle, see photo #12) both handles have light scratches and tiny nicks from normal wear.
