Antique wooden moulding plane, woodwork tools, Victorian

A gorgeous rustic old, 19th century beech wood moulding plane. It is beautiful dark grain wood with an engraved name T Horby and Hull carved in the side, the opposite side has 3 over 16. It has the wooden guide and original steel blade.

Used for dados and similar wood work. Early to mid 19th century, it is a big heavy and solid piece. Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age.
