COMPLETE Vintage CRAFTSMAN No78 Duplex Rabbet Woodworking Plane Inv#JQ91

This is a fine complete CRAFTSMAN 78 duplex rabbet woodworking plane. The plane's japanning is in nice condition with some minor wear to the japanning. The plane's overall measurements: 10" x 1-1/2".

The cutter is marked CRAFTSMAN Made in USA 107.1, it is clea n & measures 4" L x 1-1/2" W. NOTE: it has a small nick out of one edge (see last two close-ups).

The plane is in excellent user condition but I always suggest sharpening the cutter to get it back to an optimal cutting edge. It is in perfect working order, NO ISSUES... Photos are an integral part of this item's description. This awesome Craftsman No 78 is in exceptionally clean and usable condition. A really good user tool ready to go to work for you and a nice addition to your toolbox!!! Everything is in great working order...... WOULD MAKE A FINE USER!!!
