Early type 2 STANLEY TOOLS NO 7 plane flat cap flat brass woodworking jcboxlot

Early what I think is a type 2 Stanley tools No 7 plane. Flat back brass marked and has a flat back cap, marked 7 on the back. But its an old rosewood one. Proper markings on the cap and iron.

Little japanning left, but has a very nice sole/base and mouth. A very good surviving early plane. I list a wide variety of items and I try my best to describe items accurately. Accurately includes; general condition and/or working condition of the item. As is, where is unless you ask first.
