ECE Block Plane

The model 649-P is 15cms long. The plane is made from two different types of timber - the sole is lignum vitae for its density and hardness and the body of hornbeam. Blade is 1 1/2 inches wide. Bevel up plane with a york pitch (50 degrees). The plane appears to have had very little use though the makers label is missing.
