Genuine Lie Nielsen No. 4 1/2 Smoothing Plane, Gently Used, Cocobolo Woodwork

This listing is for a gorgeous Lie Nielsen no. It's from my own personal plane till and has served me faithfully. It has been retrofitted with an amazing custom knob and tote set made from cocobolo. Has light patina and a few signs of a well loved and cared-for tool (a few surface scratches, small nicks in the paint/woodwork) - nothing to be concerned about. My hope is that you'll be adding to this wear as this finds a natural home in your tool chest.

It's really a fantastic plane. Please assume cutting edge needs honing and the plane needs final setup. Ships free from Columbus, Ohio. As a longtime woodworker, I dont pass along anything that I wouldnt enjoy using in my own shop.
