Minimum set of 5 chisels. Tataki chisel is one of the most reassuring chisels to have. The neck is long for deep drilling.

The finish was sharpened by hand using whetstone #6000. Even in this state, the blade is sharp enough. My latest obsession is the flatness of the back of the blade. Even in Japan, good carpenters care about the back of the blade.

If only the edge of the blade is flat, it doesn't matter. Blade is coated with blade oil. Wooden handles are polished and coated with beeswax. Blade width approx: 9mm, 15mm (Oire), 16mm, 30mm, 42mm (Tataki).
