Japanese Plane, Hideo Ishido'Hommei

This is a smaller Japanese plane measuring 225mm long with a 48mm wide blade. The dai is bang on quartersawn. The blade was made by Ishido and titled'Hommei'. He pursues simplicity using blue steel and his blades are very practical without unnecessary adornment. I have prepared the blade and used it a little as a test and it works very well!
