Japanese Plane, Ikkanshi Tadatsuna Newithold stock

This vintage Tadatsuna Kanna plane dates from the 1950's or earlier and is new old stock which had been in storage for many years. I bought it from the Japan Blade in California about 10 years ago. There is some minor rust marks on the back of the blade from storage but these don't intrude on the cutting area which is as it came to me, mirror polished and razor sharp. The blade needs final setting in the dai and I have never used it. The plane is 270mm long and the blade is 70mm wide.
