It has never been used, sharpened or set. The blade has excellent Mokume (grain of wood) and is made of blue steel super which gives it a sharper cutting edge than Blue Steel.

It has more carbon and tungsten so is suitable for both hard and soft woods. It measures 290mm long with a 70mm wide blade and at 680gr has real weight in the hand.
