Tool Set of 7 Hand Tool wood working #471. Thank you for viewing my item. From 4mm-30mm Tsuki Chisel=Thrusting chisels. Sokosarai: Chisel to clean the bottom of a carved hole. Yari: A planer to clean the surface.

A set of chisels which are all thrusting chisels. Cutting blade has completed basic sharpening. The finish was sharpened by hand using whetstone #1000. Even in this state, the blade is sharp enough. Features: Yari Chisel=chisel like a spear.

This is a companion of planer. It is used to shave the surface of wood thinly to make it shiny. It was used by temple carpenters who specialized in temples and shrines. This is not a real chisel, but it is a chance to experience it.

Sokosarai = A chisel to clean the bottom of a carved hole. Blade is coated with blade oil.

Wooden handles are polished and coated with beeswax. Blade width approx: 9mm, 18mm, 23mm, 30mm(Hira) 21mm(Hira) 15mm (Yari) 4mm(Sokosarai). Return is accepted if only the item is different from item's description.
