Lot of 3 Vintage Stanley Wood Handle PLANES. Planes are in different conditions. The Bedrock 605 has a smooth bottom, and has the 2 patent dates 95' and 10' in back of where the frog sits. The iron also has the sweetheart stamped on it.
The handles aren't the best. The tote is chipped off on top at the horn.
The front knob has a part of the base chipped off. There is also a person's social security number stamped on one of cheeks. There are little dents, scratches. Discoloration, some pitting, and japanning loss. Cleaned up some it would make a great plane to use. The Bailey #5 jack plane has a smooth bottom too. The handles are good on this plane with the normal wear. The main problem with this plane is that it has been welded on both sides/cheeks where the throat is as can be seen in the photos. The iron is also not the original. It has the victory name stamped on it. Probably a stanley brand made during WW2. There are also little dents, scratches, discoloration, some pitting, and japanning loss on this plane too.The #40 scrub plane is not to bad. The handles are fine, but the lever cap looks like it was welded too. It also has little dents, scratches, discoloration, some pitting, and japanning loss.
I've had these planes for many years, and hope someone can use these planes for parts or put them back to life. Please view photos to see what the conditions are as they're part of the description. I thank you for viewing, and considering these planes, and would be happy to answer any questions, or take more photos.
