This is a huge 24'inch Stanley no. It was made between 1898 and 1935.

^ Please read ALL of this description! This is an estate find. ^ Here are the good features: --Corrugated Bottom. -Plane bed has NO CRACKS OR BREAKS, especially around the mouth. -Stanley Blade with plenty of life left.....

-Planes beautifully, see the shavings pic. -Tote and knob are intact with no cracks. -Brass Adjuster knob is in good condition, and works well.

-This plane will make a beautiful addition to your collection. ^ Here are not so good features: --The tote has been repaired, but I think it is a good job. (see pic) --The brass tilt washer has seen better days and does not allow the tilt lever to be straight up when the blade is square. (see pic) --The top of the frog that holds the tilt lever is cracked, but does not affect performance.

-The blade cap does not have the "Bedrock" logo. -There are some dings and scratches I was not able to remove, but on the whole, I think the plane looks nice and performs well. ^ Check out the pics! ^ Check out our Feedback!
