Pfeil swiss made carving tools Set 12. Very fine set of palm /hand size tools with many profiles.

I have had these in my shop for many many years and never used them much. But when needed they always came through with outstanding results. This is older Swiss steel is exceptional and take and hold and edge quite well.

This steel is much better than today's steel. I HAVE PLENTY OF NEW PFEIL TOOLS and although they are good tools, they don't hold a candle to the vintage steel in this set or any older Swiss set. All that said It is now time to get these in the hands of some craftsman/woman as it does not look like wood carving will be in the picture for me much longer and as they say you can't take it with you.
