Pope falcon woodworking plane
Listed for sale is a plane rarely seen and especially in this condition and all original a POPE. FALCON NO F6 manufactured in AUSTRALIA. This company made these planes for only a 10 year period in Australia between 1946 and 1955. Virtually the same model as Stanley no 6 or a Record 06.
Perhaps a slightly heavier casting than the above and the frog finished in red. It is all original with a clean FLAT SOLE and a ground and sharpened iron. The weight and size and a flat sole this plane shoots a nice shaving. A plane for the collectors or hopefully to be used and kept in this condition for many years to come.
