This listing is for a Rare Antique Champion Lock Mortiser J. Woodworking Tool patented 1912 Columbus, Ohio. It is approximately 21 H x 11 1/2 W. This is a rare vintage machine/tool with various gears and a handle.

It was used to cut out the square holes for the old square locks you would see in a door. This machine appears to be in good to very good condition for its age. The gears turn very smoothly when the handle is turned. This machine was obviously well taken care of through the years. Im not sure if the cutting mechanism is complete.

A part may have to be added. One of the lock screws is missing which should not be hard to replace. I cannot guarantee that this machine will work properly without some minor repairs. This tool weighs approximately 19 pounds.
