RARE Antique Spiers Ayr No 11 Bullnose plane Wood Woodworking Tools Plane

For sale is a beautifully made cast metal plane made by Spiers of Ayr The wedge to hold the blade is made very much of what looks like ebony and marked with a small number 5, The blade is marked Howarth and also has a small number 5, The side of the plane has the Spiers Ayr name, which can be clearly seen in the photographs and also the number No 11 on it. I think the small wooden infill section inside the plane is also marked with the number 5. The size of the sole is 93mm long by 25mm wide.
