RARE STANLEY NO. 850 SWEETHEART WOODWORKING TOOL CHEST CIRCA EARLY1920's

Okay all you Stanley Sweetheart tool collector's, hold on to your hat, cause here's the tool chest you need!! This beauty is in very good condition considering it's age. Of course it does show signs of wear, but no damage. The large brass plate on the front of the drawer is off the charts cool and there's a smaller one on the top edge of the case that is clearly readable. The Stanley sticker on the inside is fully intact but the one on the front of the left hand door is mostly gone.

All the joints are nice and tight and the drawer, with the original finger pulls, slides in and out freely. The handles on each side are tarnished and there is a natural crack on the bottom center stile of the left door as seen in photo number 3. Not bad for a cabinet that's almost 100 years old. The finish is weak in some areas which is to be expected.

The only thing I've done to it was wipe the dust off. When I pulled the drawer all the way out I found two keys behind it.

There's a tag attached to them that says they belong to this cabinet but I can't seem to make em work. It's 29-1/4" tall, 25-1/2" wide, and 8-7/16 deep. There's no way better way to proudly display your best sweetheart tools than in this beauty!!!
