RARE Vintage (1938 onward) Original Condition RECORD no. 042 Rabbet Rebate Plane

A wonderful and rare vintage RECORD NO. My research tells me this is a post 1938 tool but I don't know its age. Looks a lot nicer than others I have seen online.

Clean, smooth and honest original condition (complete with a RECORD cutting iron). Please see photos as they are an integral part of the description.

My father was a highly skilled engineer and also a fine carpenter. This lovely wood plane will, of course, be. Packed VERY safely inside a strong outer shell cardboard box.

This box will be further wrapped in fragile tape for posting. I will post overseas and I will combine items for posting. Thank you and very best wishes.
