About 80-85 percent of original japanning with some missing japanning spots, dark spots, micro pitting and light scratches on sides and bottom of sole. Iron stamped "STANLEY RULE & LEVER CO" (6-5/8" long x 2" wide) in excellent condition. Chip breaker in excellent condition, both have micro pitting, dark spots and light scratches with BAILEYS PATENT DEC. 24,1867 stamped into chip breaker.

A few scratches, micro pitting and darkness in lever cap. Rare type 3 frog as scratches, tiny nicks and a little pitting with brass adjusting nut as patent dates stamped into it.
