Stanley 340 Furring Plane Rare Antique Woodworking Tool Body for Restoration
Antique Stanley 340 furring plane for restoration. Estate fresh straight out of some old dude's basement. Original old patina and plenty of original black paint remaining. Measures approx 10 inches long. Condition is as photographed with wear as to be expected from age and use such as small scuffs, dings, light scratches, dirt, dust, etc etc.
Dirty and dusty, original chippy black paint, some chips and scuffs on the wooden handles, spot of old paint on the handle, some light spots of surface rust scattered about and the rear wooden handle is ever so slightly loose. It does have some small chips in the metal base where the blade would go... File them down and you'll be good to go. You'll have some issues too when you're over 100 years old so get over it....We're not going to use any of that as an excuse to send me ridiculous lowball offers, I just publicly humiliate and block people that do that.
