Genuine Antique Vintage Collectible & User Woodworking Tools. 605 Bed Rock Jack Plane Type 9 c. This sale is for the Stanley Bed Rock No. 605 Jack Plane Type 9 c. It has been re-japanned with a baked on finish. The body is rust and pit free for the most part. This plane dates from before the beginning of WWII after which they were never offered again.

The Sweetheart era cutter is proper and full length. The had its top edge was filed to remove a burr. Proper Rosewood handle and knob are nice. No structural issues, cracks, chips, or the like. A great user that is ready to go back to work.

The machined / mated frog to sole feature with its double pin locking design that allows for precise frog adjustment with the plane fully assembled has been copied by many contemporary makers including Lie Nielsen. Pics tell the rest of the story.
