Stanley No 7 Jointer Plane 3 Date Excellent Woodworking

Is it lapped to one one millionth of a rats well you know? Has it been sharpened on the latest Japanese Hazimoto Hazigawah sharpening machine to. Can I promise it is all original Japanning? I wish I could but I have no idea. Is it a Stanley number 7 in great worker condition with the full protection of a 100% black coating with a full blade and square mouth with some pitting on both ends of the sole and a little on one side that effects nothing and a good knob and handle? Will it do the exact same job as one with all the above attributes that this one does not have and look good doing it? It most certainly will and do it for a long long time.

I figure it this way. I look for things like wear patterns on the round disk on the lateral lever and mushroomed adjuster knobs that show how much use or abuse a plane has had.

Is the lateral adjuster smooth yet tight like this one and not loose and sloppy. A plane will need sharpened over and over but a wore out one just gets more wore out.
