A superb and very rare, Stanley USA, No. Early 20th century antique, cast steel, two part body, the front part housing the depth stop and fence guide. This screws to the main plane body, housing the adjustable cutters (2) and depth adjustment wheel.

60% of the original nickel finish remains. Nice and clean, complete with no rust or damages, smooth operation. A fabulous and very rare Stanley plane, in great condition, one that is an excellent investment piece.
