Vintage Bailey No. 8 Carpenter Plane 24 L 3 W Ribbed Bottom Wood Working Tool

A recent barn find when cleaning out an estate. A Vintage Used Bailey No. 8 Carpenter Plane 24" Long 3" Wide, Wood Working Tool.

It still needs further cleaning. It measures: 24" x 3" and has a ribbed bottom surface. I used a wire brush to clean off some of the surface rust and soil. I used a straight screwdriver to loosen and remove screws. The pictures and condition issues listed below will have to tell the rest of the story. Used, soiled, some areas of surface rust, some areas of discoloration, it needs more cleaning, no repairs, no paint touch ups, no cracks, an estate/barn find. Please use the pictures to judge the item because they also are part of the description.
