Vintage Record 53E Woodworking Vise-Quick Release-Made in England-Very Nice

A really nice heavy duty original Record 53E woodworkers vise. Works very smoothly, and the quick release performs as it should. The rails and main threaded screw have been kept lubricated and are not rusted. This only received lighter use in a homeowner hobby shop.

There is just some buildup of dirt which will cleanup easily. I carefully inspected it and the only thing I noticed were a couple very, very small marks from a hand saw on the top of the front clamping jaw plate which are pictured. I consider it to be character, and there are way fewer saw marks than most others. The clamping jaw plates had wood blocks mounted previously. It is a very heavy vice, and it is a nice one.
