Vintage Record No 778 Improved Rabbet Plane Complete (212)

A boxed Record No 778 improved rabbet plane complete and in good working order and condition for its age. It is complete with its spur, adjustable depth gauge and fence and original instruction sheet.

The Record iron measures 1 1/2" x 4" and is quite sharp. The trade label would date the plane to a type 2, with the cardboard box dating to 1962 - 1970's. Please note, that this tool is not new and I base my description on its condition at the time of listing.
