Vintage Rounding Plane 3/4 Inch (like Ashem / Griffin / Fred Lambert Pattern). Unknown Maker similar to those produced by Ashem Crafts and Griffin. Used to make Spindles for stick chairs etc. Dimension is diameter of resultant stick.

Cast metal with wooden handles. Uses a spokeshave iron to shape the stick (works a bit like a giant pencil sharpener). To get the best out of this tool may require further sharpening and or honing of the edge. Please see photos for details of item and condition.
