Vintage Spiers Infill Plane. Screw sides. Ward Cutter

A vintage Scottish infill plane made by Spiers. 14 inches long with screw sides. Cutter and chipbreaker are by Ward.

The sides have some light pitting. The sole is mostly smooth with some light spots of pitting.

The Rear handle has the horn missing, but the top edge has been planed flat to tidy this up and for ease of grafting on a new piece of timber should you wish. The wood is otherwise in good shape with no sign of any other breaks or significant damage.
