Vintage Stanley Bailey No 3 Type 17 Smooth Woodworking Plane Ca. No 3 Type 17 Circa 1942-45. Plane has been taken apart and cleaned properly, preserving its integrity and patina.

The plane's japanning is in Mint condition. It has the horizontal Stanley on the adjustable lever. The knob and tote show a lot of wear, dings and paint flaking.

The tote has been repaired at it's base. He plane measures 9-1/4" x 2-1/8". The sole and cheeks have minor dings and scratches but have cleaned up well. The cutter has the Stanley notched logo and has cleaned up nicely.. Measures only: 5-5/8" L x 1-3/4" W.

This definitely was the "go to" too. It has Made in USA behind frog. Excellent user condition but I always suggest sharpening the cutter to get it back to an optimal cutting edge. (Please see all photos for condition).

This awesome Stanley No 3 is in exceptionally clean and. A really good user tool ready to go to work for you and a nice addition. Everything is in great working order..... WOULD MAKE A FINE USER!!! STAY TUNED, I will be listing Stanley No 2, 4, 5, 6, 7C & 8 within the next few days..........
