About 85 percent of original japanning (missing japanning spots, and a little rough) with pitting, light scratches, micro pitting and tiny nicks on sides and bottom of sole, "B" in casting under tote handle. AP'L 19.92" stamp iron (6-3/16" long) and chip breaker are in good condition with original bluing on back of chip breaker. Pitting, scratches and dark spots on both on iron and chip breaker.
Light scratches and micro pitting in lever cap "B" in casting on back of lever cap, as four small notches on back, see photos. One patent date on lever control, NO "B" in casting on bottom of frog. 90-95 percent original japanning on frog with micro pitting, dark spots and light scratches. No chips or cracks on rosewood short knob or tote handle, just small nicks and scratches from normal wear. Plane as been very lightly cleaned, oiled and waxed, please see pictures.
