It is equivalent to the Stanley Number 7. It is in pretty decent condition. The tote, and the front knob are in decent shape.

Both have the typical wear, and are sturdy. There is wear, scratches, dings, and light discoloration/staining, light pitting on the the plane sole, and other metal parts. There is some japanning loss on the plane bed. There are stamped owner's letters on one of the sides/ cheeks.

No cracks or repairs on the plane body that can be seen. The plane was lightly cleaned, and oiled. Please look at the photos closely as they are part of the description too.
